chemical and allied industries. Joseph E. Sabol attended the American Physical Society's annual meeting in New Orleans,
March 8-13, 2008. Sabol organized and chaired the Entrepreneurial Workshop, sponsored by APS's Forum on Industrial and Applied
Physics, March 9, 2008. This workshop and panel discussion featured experts that discussed starting and building a business,
intellectual property, financing, technology transfer, and assistance. Sabol presented "EXAFS and XANES in Fe3-xMxO4, M =
Zn, Ti, Al with 0 < x < 0.065" at the APS's session V12, Metal Insulator Transition I: Vanadium Oxides and Others, on March
